Take your matcha to go! These convenient packets make it easy to enjoy matcha whenever you want. Matcha Ninja is not bitter like most matcha, making it to be what is believed to be the best tasting raw organic matcha on the planet. How is this achieved? Matcha Ninja leaves are specially selected tencha leaves that are de-stemmed and finely ground for a longer period than regular matcha to allow for super soluble and superior tasting matcha. This process increases the chlorophyll and antioxidant content of the leaf and also removes bitterness. Matcha Ninja is easy to use because it is super soluble in cold/warm water, just add it to your water bottle, shake and go.
Matcha Ninja Interesting Facts:
Matcha Ninja is 100% organic. Organic is super important because with matcha you are actually ingesting the tea leaves as opposed to steeping and discarding them.
Add ½ tsp of matcha to either a hot or cold liquid of choice such as water, juice, smoothies, or nut milks.
Matcha Ninja sources from an exclusive range of high altitude organic farms in Zhejiang, a province in eastern China. Matcha Ninja was originally sourcing from Yame, Japan, but stopped due to concerns over radiation effects from the Fukushima nuclear disaster.
Ingredients: 100% Organic Ceremonial Grade Matcha
I bought this for my trip overseas, as I did not want to carry a whole container of matcha powder + whisk. Very convenient, dissolves easily and no clumps. In terms of taste, it is not bitter, though It really depends on how much water you want to use to dissolve the water. The box does not present the recommended amount of H2O to use. Using 8-12oz has been good for me. I used 16 oz mix of water and ice and it barely tasted like matcha; but that was good as it was more hydrating and I sipped it throughout the day in my insulated container. Overall, I will purchase again and put these little packets in my bag for school or work, since matcha can be quite expensive when bough at a fancy coffee shop downtown or similar places.
