Tincture
Sage (Salvia) is a perennial plant in the mint family which is native to the Mediterranean region. The name "Salvia" comes from the Latin word meaning to save, or to heal. This refers to the herb's ability to heal with its anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties.
Sage is traditionally used in Herbal Medicine to reduce hyperhidrosis (i.e. excessive sweating or perspiration).
This is a fantastic herb for menopausal night sweats and the disorders associated with menopause.
Sage is also beneficial for fighting colds and flus. It helps to boost the immune system and is beneifical for sore throats. It uses anti-inflammatory action to soothe the sore throat and antimicrobial action to fight the infection.
