Matcha may be an excellent source for:
This Matcha is the magical culmination of Sun Potion’s love for tea, their appreciation of Japanese culture and tradition, and their borderline obsession with quality. The natural farming of this matcha is a method inspired by the natural rhythms of nature, and is a low-impact, peaceful approach. The idea is to minimize the human imprint, to integrate the agriculture into the indigenous environment, and allow the wild soil and environment contribute to the expression of the tea.
Tea-trees are shade-grown in a naturally-cultivated soil, (without the use of any fertilizers, pesticides, chemical or organic amendments - just water, shade cloth, and some straw and leaves for mulch) in harmony with the forested mountainside where the farm is located in Nara, Japan. The minimal agriculture practices are intended to reflect the quality and signature of the surrounding forests and soil.
Add 1/2 teaspoon to your favorite cup or bowl and an ounce of room temperature water. Whisk gently and fill the remainder of cup 2/3 full with water (warm or cool) and whisk in a zigzag pattern until frothy with love. Makes an excellent addition to smoothies, shakes, raw cakes and even face masks!

Tend to feel indulgent when buying Sun Potion jars, though the peace of mind seems to justify the purchase.
In a market saturated with questionable sourcing and brands, it's nice to find a company that seeks out the best possible source, whether it be near or far. All the details are handled, right down to the Miron Glass packaging. Expensive, but a nice present to yourself every now and then.
Would recommend buying, and sending to yourself as a 'gift' one day when you need it. A nice package to come home to.
Thank you again Erin.
